Event Security Officer

Job Title: On-Call Event Security Guard Location: Lower Mainland / Metro Vancouver, BC Job Type: Casual / On-Call / Event-Based Job Overview We are seeking reliable, professional, and highly alert On-Call Event Security Guards to support a wide range of events across Metro Vancouver, including concerts, festivals, corporate events, private functions, and public gatherings. This role is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, confident in high-energy environments, and capable of maintaining safety in large crowds and fast-paced situations. Key Responsibilities Provide crowd control and ensure public safety during events Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas Perform access control (ID checks, ticket verification, bag screening) Patrol event venues and identify potential risks or suspicious activity Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances Enforce event rules, safety policies, and client requirements Deliver excellent customer service by assisting guests and providing directions Work closely with event staff, supervisors, and emergency services when required Complete incident reports and maintain accurate logs These duties align with standard event security expectations such as monitoring crowd behavior, controlling access, and responding to emergencies.
